I have listened to your radio show for the past several months and although I am neither homosexual nor a heterosexual addict, I find much comfort in your words. I am a 39 year old woman recovering from living in sin with a man for six years and I have found much hope in listening…You are doing such a badly needed service which others are terrified of touching, and I have no doubt that the Lord has given you the courage to withstand the enormous personal and financial adversity you have had to deal with. I am planting it as seed for our son […’s] deliverance out of homo-illusion and the restoration of your marriage…Please pray for him [her son] to be drawn by the Holy Spirit to listen to your tapes, which he has. I hope to be at your next seminar…We are walking in faith for the healing of his blood. Jan. 4th he goes to the Dr. and the healing will be confirmed. Please pray that his platelet count will be 300,000 instead of over 1,000,000…Some day we will share the miracle with you.

As 1998 passes into memory, I want to thank you for all that you have done for me—you don’t let on as my counselor, but I know that your calling is a hard one. Your ministry has helped me to have hope in my life—and not just with my struggle. I haven’t been the most regular giver, but I hope that you somehow know how thankful I am for all you have done for me. I love you and have the deepest respect, admiration and affection for you. …I was sorry to hear the [radio] ministry is being shortened to 15 minutes. I pray that through God we will find a way to fix this…You have helped me so much. I have failed a few times since my lunch with you…As much as I felt the feeling to condemn myself, I found Jesus was still there loving me. It makes the failure less powerful…Each year since I’ve been listening to you it’s been less and less…my obsessive thoughts still reappear from time to time but I react to them with praise and the power is faded to almost nothing. I know that with the help from you and the power of Jesus, '99 will be a breakthrough year for me!!

…I would also like to become a Partner of your radio program at $15 a month. I’ve been listening…since last summer…I am so very grateful for your program…I was very sorry to hear it is going to be cut back to a shorter time period. I’ll keep praying! I’ve gained innumerable insights as to dealing with those ever constant addictions. I’m becoming a stronger person through my spiritual growth since I began listening. It was interesting for me to hear the “after recovery” airings because I have been wandering in the dark when I went from heterosexual addiction into my (fourth) marriage. It was nice to hear I had done some things right and also how to work on what I’m not happy with. My daily challenges are still great and having you to listen to every night is a ray of sunshine (moonlight?) in my life!…
Personally I’m using your advice…for strength…to stay on a diet that will help me live through some serious health challenges. It really helped me to realize…that it wasn’t my strength and effort I needed to work on, but to realize that it is the Lord’s strength and that He is always there for me! Thank you for that and so many other nightly gifts you have given me! God is certainly working through you!…I commend you for what you do…God’s blessings on you and yours!
